A creative menace

Imagine witnessing land been transformed before your eyes. Yes a huge piece of land that was never there. That is the case of the Caribbean island of Montserrat. However nothing comes easy.
These people practiced optimism and resillience in the face of an active volcano.
Everyone knew there were sulphur hot springs on the island a result of three dormant volcanoes which in your lifetime would never come alive. But yet they were wrong. It started with frequent earthquakes, to the residents no big deal. Then one day there was a droning sound echoing around the capital Plymouth it sounded like a jumbo jet getting ready to land but never landed. This was investigated and next day the seismic center in Trinidad notified the Montserrat goverment that it was the volcano coming alive. In other words 'the mountain was groaning'. Here is where all pandemonium broke loose.
